2005 WSOP Event #17June 20, 2005 Limit Hold 'em Buy-in: $2500 Number of Entries: 373 Total Prize Money: $857,900 Final Table Results 1st – Quinn Do 2nd – Chi Chang 3rd – Mike Davis 4th – Tony Nasr 5th – ‘Captain’ Tom Franklin 6th – Sammy Arzoin 7th – Rodeen Talebi 8th – Spencer Sun 9th – Noah Boeken Memorable hand: The final hand, played between two WSOP rookies, was one to remember in large part because it was already over before the turn was even shown. Short-stacked Chang moved all in preflop with Jd-9h, and Do had Ac-7c. The flop of Qc-3c-2c gave Do the nut flush, and that was that, as the Vietnamese-born, Seattle-bred 29-year-old didn’t’ need to see the turn or river to know he’d won a bracelet. Other noteworthy finishers were Carlos Mortensen in 19th place, David Plastik in 22nd place and Steve Zolotow in 35th place. ![]() DISCLAIMER: Drawdead.com links to sites that may contain gambling
