2007 WSOP Schedule
It's finally here! The moment you've all been waiting for. The 2007 World Series of Poker schedule has been announced. At this year's 2007 WSOP will be a total of 55 games being played through the course of almost seven weeks. This new WSOP Schedule has a variety of games with varied buy-ins and those involved in the scheduling of the 2007 WSOP have made improvements that should please most everyone. Included this year are several games that had been long forgotten and a few new ones as well. The 2007 WSOP will begin on June 1st, but unlike previous years, where the only game played on the opening day was the Casino Employees game, this year we will also see a $5,000 Mixed Holdem (No Limit and Limit) event. For those of you that had heard the rumors of less $1,000 buy-in games, fear not, you can still play some as late as six weeks into the WSOP, although there arent nearly as many games with that buy-in this year. The Ladies only and the Seniors tournaments will continue with the $1,000 buy-in this year. This years WSOP Main Event will include three Day One's and will be able to accommodate at least 3,000 players on each of those three days. The Rio will be adding an addition to their Amazon Room which will bring the total number of WSOP tables in that room to 300. No one knows yet whether that 3,000 daily player limit (without alternates) will be enough to handle all interested players, but that will be debated upon until the Friday July 6th when the Main Event begins. This years Main Event schedule includes two days off, one between Day 1c and Day 2 and the other before the start of the Final Table. There has been no announcement of change to the 2007 WSOP Main Event schedule. Each days play will continue until 2am, no extensions allowed. Also, players will be informed in advance how long each session of each day will last for the entire 2007 World Series of Poker schedule and the WSOP personnel will not be able to change that schedule once play commences. Since there were issues with the length some of the tournaments last year lasted, those concerns have been addressed. This year, 55 WSOP bracelets will be awarded and all of the events will be at least two days, but most will be three day events. The break-down of this years events looks like this: 14 Two Day Events 39 Three Day Events 1 Five Day Event 1 Eight Day Event The 2007 World Series of Poker schedule looks like this: Fri Jun 1 $5,000 Mixed Hold'em (Limit & No Limit) View the results of 2007 WSOP event #1 Fri Jun 1 $500 Casino Employees No Limit Hold'em Event View the results of 2007 WSOP event #2 Sat Jun 2 $1,500 No Limit Hold'em View the results of 2007 WSOP event #3 Sun Jun 3 $1,500 Pot Limit Hold'em View the results of 2007 WSOP event #4 Sun Jun 3 $ 2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud Hi-Low-8 or Better View the results of 2007 WSOP event #5 Mon Jun 4 $1,500 Limit Hold'em View the results of 2007 WSOP event #6 Mon Jun 4 $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha w/ Re-buys View the results of 2007 WSOP event #7 Tue Jun 5 $1,000 No Limit Hold'em w/ Re-Buys View the results of 2007 WSOP event #8 Tue Jun 5 $1,500 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better View the results of 2007 WSOP event #9 Wed Jun 6 $2,000 No-Limit Hold'em View the results of 2007 WSOP event #10 Wed Jun 6 $5,000 World Championship Seven Card Stud View the results of 2007 WSOP event #11 Thu Jun 7 $2,000 No limit Hold'em / Six Handed Fri Jun 8 $5,000 World Championship Pot Limit Hold'em Fri Jun 8 $1,500 Seven Card Stud Sat June 9 $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em Sat June 9 $2,500 H.O.R.S.E.
