2009 WSOP Event 12 Results
Congratulations to Ville Wahlbeck the 33 year old Finland native who won the $10,000 World Championship Mixed Event of the 2009 WSOP. Wahlbeck is the first Finnish player to win a bracelet. He also took 3rd place earlier in the WSOP at the Seven Card Stud Championship. Wahlbeck outlasted the field of 194 for this event and may be changing his mind about a blog he recently posted saying he was thinking of quitting poker. He takes home his first gold bracelet and almost a half million dollars for his win. David Chiu was the 2nd place finisher in this event. Some notable named players that were in this event were Jennifer Harman, Daniel Negreanu, Mike Matusow, Victor Ramdin, Barry Greenstein, Freddy Deeb and Micheal Binger. Buy-in: $10,000 Final results:
