2009 WSOP Event 21 Results
As with most of the other WSOP events, the $3,000 H.O.R.S.E. event would take three days to crown a winner. This time it was Zac Fellows who would take home his first WSOP bracelet and the top cash of $311,899, having eliminated James Van Alstyne in 2nd place.
A total of 452 players bought into this event, more than had done so last year, and 198 of those players would make it to Day 2. Many top pros were on hand to play including Mike Matusow, Michael Mizrachi, Barry Greenstein, Gavin Smith and David Benyamine. The action on Day 2 wound down to 21 players at the close of action.
After 9 hours the final table became a heads up battle with Fellows and Van Alstyne. It took less than 2 hours for Fellows to take Van Alstyne down and win the event.
