2009 WSOP Event 23 Results

After three long day and almost 40 hours of play, 95 players have been eliminated from the $10,000 World Championship No Limit 2-7 Draw Lowball and Nick Schulman was been declared the bracelet winner. Although Schulman has won almost $4Million in his young poker career, the 24 year old had not won a WSOP bracelet.

Nick took out Ville Wahlbeck, the Finnish poker sensation who is been tearing up this year’s WSOP with four cashes in four $10,000 events, three final table appearances and a bracelet in the $10,000 Mixed event. Wahlbeck is the leader in the Player of the Year race.

You may remember Schulman from his World Poker Finals win back in 2005 as the then 21 year old was starting his journey into professional poker. Congratulations to Nick Schulman on capturing his first WSOP bracelet. Odds are that this won’t be his last.
