The final table of the $2,500 Omaha/Seven Card Stud HL/8 or Better was filled with some poker superstars. The question of the day would be whether Phil Ivey could win yet another WSOP bracelet. Ivey would not disappoint his fans that day as he picked up his 2nd bracelet of the 2009 series, as well as his 7th career WSOP bracelet, $220,538 and moved one step closer to the top of WSOP bracelet winner board. Ivey would take out Ming Lee in 2nd place and Lee would take home $136,292 for his efforts. Rumor has it that Ivey may have picked up several thousand (probably million) for winning his 2nd bracelet of this series on side bets made with other poker pros.
