2009 WSOP Event 41 Results
The 41st event of the 2009 World Series of Poker has given the country of Hungary its first WSOP champ. Peter Traply became the first Hungarian player ever to win a WSOP bracelet. Event #41 was a $5,000 No Limit Hold’em shootout in which 280 players entered. It still took three days to crown a winner. Among those players sent to the rail in the first two days of action were David ‘Chino’ Rheem, David ‘The Dragon’ Pham, Daniel Negreanu and Jennifer Harman. Just five players would return for Day 3 and after almost 6 hours it was Traply who would take down the final hand of the match and be declared winner. Andrew Litchenberger would finish in 2nd place and take home $215,403. Buy-in: $5,000 Final results:
