2009 WSOP Event 47 Results
Event #47 of the 2009 World Series of Poker was the $2,500 Mixed Hold’em event in which 527 players entered the three day tournament. First time bracelet winner Bahador Ahmadi only had to play one hand of heads up action against John McGuiness to finish the game. The final hand and only heads up hand saw Ahmadi with Jd3d against a wired pair of 10s for McGuiness. Ahmadi made a flush on the turn to end the game.
Ahmadi took home the bracelet and $278,104 while McGuiness left as the runner up with $172,227. Congratulations to all players who got a piece of the $1.2Million prize pool.
