2009 WSOP Event 7 Results

Another event of the 2009 World Series of Poker has wrapped up after long hours of play and a huge starting field. Event #7, $1,500 No Limit Hold’em event saw lots of big named players eliminated in the first days of the event.

Of those notable names Freddy Deeb went out early on Day 1, along with John Robert Bellande, Vanessa Rousso, Kristy Gazes, Phil Hellmuth and last years winner Blaire Hinkle. Day 2 of the event saw 337 players come back and play down to just 33 remaining players after almost 13 hours of action.

In the end it was Travis Johnson who took home the bracelet and $666,853, while second place finisher Steve Karp took home $414,116.
