2009 WSOP Event 8 Results
It was number 6 for Phil Ivey at the $2,500 Deuce to Seven Draw Lowball Event this year. Six WSOP bracelets that is. Phil Ivey was the winner of the 2009 WSOP Event #8 pocketing just under $100,000 for his win.
Ivey outlasted a field of 147 players, including Freddy Deeb, Layne Flack, Vanessa Rousso, Barry Greenstein and Erick Lindgren, all of whom also ended play in the money.
Rumor has it that along with his bracelet and winnings, Ivey also pocketed some big money for sidebets for being the first in the group of bettors to win a bracelet.
