I really enjoyed playing at Absolute when I first downloaded it. Except for some software and connection issues. I really like the amount of freeroll tournaments Absolute offers. I definitely recommend this site to friends and family interested in low-key online play. The overall look of the poker room at Absolute is clean and uncluttered. I dont like the new setup with the emoticons. And I have yet to find the options to turn off certain types of chats, so that all is see is what other players are saying.

The main reason for the low score in this area is that Absolute poker's software seems to get updated at least twice per week. Otherwise, the site is easy to navigate, to find other users, both in games and in the lobby, and tournaments you are currently registered in. The instant replay has just been added, which is very helpful when you are going over a winning or a losing hand.

I have noticed a frequent amount of disconnects, not just on my end but on average I see 1 player have issues with connections every time I sit down. Also there seems to be a problem with the chat function. At times I have to minimize and maximize my room view in order to chat. All of your personal information, including rewards summary, real money bankroll and play money bankroll appear on the cashier screen, making all that information easily accessible.

I would have to say that the majority of the players on Absolute Poker are average or above average. There are occasional noobs that are still learning the game and will make a call with a questionable hand but all sites have that. It is typically very easy to get into a Sit-n-Go game and not wait more than a few minutes for the table to fill. The ring games rarely have a waiting list unless the table is hot!
