Andy Bloch Profile![]() Bloch grew up in Orange, CT, a small suburb of New Haven and currently lives in Tacoma Park, CA Andy Bloch started playing seriously in 1992, the same year he graduated from MIT with two degrees in electrical engineering, entering some small $35 weekly tournaments once a month. By the end of the year, he had won one of the World Poker Finals tournaments, a $100(US) entry fee no-limit Texas hold'em tournament. That was the first time he ever played no-limit. Bloch is a graduate of the Harvard Law School, and is an expert in "Game Theory," who succeeds by concentrating on the psychological aspects of poker.
