Full Tilt Poker ReviewFull Tilt Poker Room Information
Promotions and BonusFull Tilt Poker LobbyFull Tilt Poker Tables 5.8 out of 10Full Tilt Poker is an impassioned poker room that was launched for real money in July 2004. Full Tilt Poker has large team of world class poker pro players and endorsers, including Jennifer Harman, Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, Phil Ivey, and John Juanda. Often times you will find at least one of those pros online, typically playing at the higher stakes ring games. But, most of the action is a the low stakes no-limit Holdem tables and no-limit Holdem fixed schedule tournaments. With clever cartoon type avatars, you are certain to find one that best represents you. The pros at Full Tilt have custom avatars that basically look like a caricature of themselves. 6 out of 10Full Tilt Poker's graphics are fun to use, especially when picking an avatar. Players choose whichever one they like and can change avatars as often as they like also. The avatars display different emotions and range from people to animals. Players can also change their background to depict different views. My only problem with Full Tilt's software is that it is difficult to discern which type of game you are playing in the main lobby. One major benefit is that Full Tilt Poker is Mac friendly. 9 out of 10Full Tilt Poker offers 100% bonus up to $600 for all first time depositors. There is some fine print with that deal. For every dollar raked from a pot, each player that was dealt cards in that hand will earn one point. You can earn partial points also. Each point is worth 6" so it is possible to earn as much as $18 for every hundred hands you are dealt. Bonuses are released to your cash account in increments of 20% of your initial deposit. Full Tilt Poker offers a decent loyalty points program. You can earn points to use towards purchasing Full Tilt merchandise and also to enter freeroll tournaments. Players receive 7 points for every $1 paid in tournament fees. 7 out of 10Promotions are awesome at Full Tilt Poker. There currently have two $20,000 freerolls, not to mention the nice sign-up and re-load bonus, there exists a number of other good promotions like WPT/WSOP qualifiers, guranteed $ tournaments, and other free money giveaways. 5 out of 10The players at Full Tilt Poker seemed a bit loose with their bankrolls. In tournament play though, there is a wide range of skill level from the absolute beginner to the seasoned poker pro. 7 out of 10The game selection at Full Tilt Poker is better than average, with Holdem, Omaha Hi and Hi-Lo, 7-Card-Stud Hi and Hi-Lo. There are no-limit and pot-limit in Holdem and pot-limit in both Omaha variants. 6 out of 10Traffic at Full Tilt Poker seems to be peaking around 3000 players, with the majority of those players, about 90% or more, playing Holdem. 5 out of 10Fill Tilt Poker just opened its virtual doors in July of 2004, but traffic was decent from the start. The volume is very concentrated to low stakes no-limit Holdem. There are typically about 600-900 players during peak hours, out of which at least 90-95% are playing Holdem section. Fill Tilt Poker initially had tournament traffic of 700-1100 real money players at peak hours. 2 out of 10Only email support currently. Otherwise, if you have questions you can always check the FAQ section on their website. This is definitely a place that Full Tilt Poker needs to improve on 7 out of 10Full Tilt Poker does decent here, as with most brand new poker rooms, and considering that they have some very well known backers. 4 out of 10Full Tilt Poker's deposit options are currently limited to VISA, MasterCard, NETeller and FirePay, while the cash out options are even more limited NETeller, FirePay and credit card. Both of those option chooses need to be expanded as there are several other banking options and web wallets available online. ![]() Like our site?
