Hollywood Poker is one of a select few poker rooms that offers software for Mac and Linux players, Hollywood Poker.com features excellent graphics and design, plus quick software. They have a great no download option for Mac and Linux users. Several celebrities promote the site, including movie star James Woods and expert commentator Vince van Patten from the World Poker Tour. My only beef with this site is that I think the cash out options should be expanded.

Hollywood Poker's software has a very user-friendly design and is high quality. They also offer a no-download feature for Mac and Linux users. The lobby information is very good; it shows hands played per hour, average pot, rake structure and percentage of players seeing the flop.

BONUSES -- 7 out of 10

Hollywood offers only a few rewards packages that are tailored to the medium and high stakes player. For a deposit fitting a low to mid stakes player, you'll get a 25% bonus, with a high stakes player getting up to 500%. Bonus Dollars are released at a rate of $1 for every 15 poker points acquired. For example, if you deposit $100, you'll qualify for a $500 bonus, and you will need 7500 (500 x 15) Poker Points to have the entire bonus released to your account. In this case, however, bonus money will be released in $50 increments. For every 750 poker points you earn HollywoodPoker.com will release $50 into your account. PLAYERS -- 6 out of 10

I think, as with most other sites, you have a variety of players from very experienced, to Fish, to newbies. I must say that this site has very polite players. In my experience, if a player makes a questionable call, other players at the table chastise them. I dont see much of this at Hollywood Pokers tables.

GAMES VARIETY -- 7 out of 10

HollywoodPoker.com offers a good variety of games. You can play Texas Hold'em in fixed limit, no-limit and pot-limit as well as Omaha and Seven-Card Stud in both high and high-low versions. Unlike most other poker rooms online, HollywoodPoker.com offers Five-Card Draw Poker in both pot-limit and fixed limit. The stakes vary from $0.25-$0.50 to ultra high stakes $300-$600 games. Play is mostly concentrated on low limit games but there is plenty of high stakes action to be found.

SITE TRAFFIC -- 7 out of 10

Site traffic at Hollywood Poker is fairly consistent with an average of 9,000-11,000 real money players during peak hours (when including free rolls).

RING GAME AND TOURNAMENT TRAFFIC - 6 out of 10

Ring games traffic of about 2,500-3,000 real money players during peak hours. And of course with the onset of WSOP satellite games the tournament traffic is increasing.

SUPPORT -- 8 out of 10

Hollywood Poker's support department is, in my opinion, on of the best. Their telephone and email support departments are extremely helpful, easy to use and respond very quickly to inquiries. The customer support department is available by email or phone 24/7. Also their FAQs section is extremely helpful and the majority of the time I just use that instead of contacting support, as it is a very in-depth database.

This is the one place where I believe Hollywood Poker needs to make improvements. Current deposit options are: Visa/MasterCard, Instacash, Firepay, NETeller and ePassporte. However, Neteller and Checks are the only way to cash out your winnings at this time. .
