He was born on October 4, 1067 and learned to play poker when he was just 7 years old. Seif is married to Jennifer and has a daughter. Mark was formerly a Prosecutor for the Los Angeles District Attorneys Office.

Seif gained poker notarity in the 2005 World Series of Poker in which he won 2 gold bracelets. Besides being a spokesperson for Absolute Poker, Mark is also a commentator for the television series Professional Poker Tour.
