Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi Poker Profile
Michael "The Grinder" Mizrachi was born on January 5, 1981 in Miami Florida. He grew up in North Miami Beach, and then moved to Hollywood, Florida. Michaels older brother, Robert Mizrachi has several WSOP and WPT money finishes. He also has a fraternal twin brother, Eric, who is a pro poker player and a younger brother, Daniel, who is a magician. After seeing his brothers success at poker, Mizrachi, who started college with the aspirations of becoming a doctor, dropped out to play poker full-time.As for his nickname "The Grinder", Mizrachi chose it himself because it signified his determination and fiercely competitive spirit at the poker table. 'I am a machine,' he says. 'I don't stop grinding.' And anyone who has seen him play knows this to be true.
Michael finished 5th in the 2010 WSOP Main event and won $2,332,992 for his troubles
