Party Poker, late last year, cut off their four skin sites and started allowing it's players to play with an independent player base. Meanwhile, Party Party boasts the largest amount of traffic at their ring games. They also pride themselves with outstanding promotions and loyalty programs. They have recently opened up side games of BlackJack. They are also co-sponsors of the team "Go Red", which was also sponsored by Elle Magazine to promote womens heart health. The co-captain of that team is defending WSOP Ladies Champion Jennifer Tilly.

SOFTWARE : 7 out of 10

I really like PartyPoker's software, especially with the upgrades they have done, both in October of 2005 and February of 2006. While I'm not a huge fan of the graphics, the playability is fair. PartyPoker has recently added new servers that will increase bandwidth and reliability for up to 100,000 players. You are allowed to play four tables simultaneously here. Although there is little information about previously played hands, there is adequate information when in tournaments. New features such as BlackJack, deal making and side bets are now available when playing either in ring games or tournaments.

BONUSES -- 5 out of 10

Party Poker's current deposit bonus is somewhat inadequate, I feel, for a room of this size with the thousands of players it attracts. Their current first deposit bonus is $25 with a deposit of $50.

PROMOTIONS -- 7 out of 10

Party Poker currently has a couple nice promotions going. Including their Million Dollar guaranteed games on Sunday that you could gain entry to from winning a freeroll! They also offer a "Tell-a-friend" referral bonus of $25. And then there are the frequent player point programs as well as the numerous re-deposit bonuses of up to $100.

PLAYERS -- 8 out of 10

The players at Party Poker range from absolute beginners, just learning the games,to the full time gambler, set to make some big money. Even at the middle level limit games, like the $2/$4 in no-limit and the $5/$10 fixed limit, you will typically find soft games, which is unlike other poker rooms where your competitors will give you a good run for your money.

GAMES VARIETY -- 7 out of 10

The game variety at PartyPoker is good, mainly due to the amount of games available in Holdem, Omaha, and 7-Card Stud, both regular and Hi/Lo. They, however, dont offer any heads-up games or draw poker games at this time. Sit-n-go game buy-ins range from $5 to $200, and the ring tables have stakes ranging from .10/.25 to $100/$200. The one shortfall here is that there are no short-handed games of Omaha available.

SITE TRAFFIC -- 10 out of 10

The Party Poker support department has made some very good improvements over the past couple of years. The main improvement I see is that the response time of their 24/7 telephone support department is often less than a minute. Those answering their phones are very knowledgeable about bonuses and promotions and also about a variety of in game technical issues. Email response times are a little slower.
