Poker Hand Nicknames
When you hear a poker commentator say that Daniel Negreanu has pocket rockets you know that he is holding two Aces, right? But if that same commentator says, Ivey is holding Raquel Welch; would you know that he has a 3-8 in his hand? Most people wouldn't. That is why we have compiled a list of the most popular and a few obscure poker hand nicknames. There are several common names for poker hands and some hands that have more than one nickname. This list has all the poker hand nicknames that we could find.
So the next time you are playing poker and holding a Queen and a three in your hand, you can say that you are holding a "Gay Waiter". Hopefully the other players will know that you dont mean that you are in San Francisco at Mecca but that you are folding a bad starting hand.
