Poker Stars Home Games

Until recently if you wanted to host a poker home game you had to call all your buddies and have them show up to your house at a certain time, set up all the chip stacks, shuffle cards, play lots of hands and probably have a few beers. Now, with the new PokerStars Home Games, you dont have to leave your house and you can have friends from all over the world at your games and its free!

PokerStars has unveiled new software that is part of their current poker client that lets players have their own Private Poker club. Setting up this poker club is quite easy. Go to PokerStars, download the poker client if you dont already have and account. Once you have a Poker Stars account you can access the Home Game tab from the lobby of the poker room. To set up your poker club you will need to pick a club name and invitation code. Once you have the code you can send it and the clubs name to any friends that you would like to have join your games. You can invite up to 50 friends to be in your poker club.

After your Poker Club is established you can get started on your games. From the Home Games tab you can select the type of poker and the stakes you want, or the tournament style and buy in you would like. There are tons of ways to customize you poker club.

Some features you will find in the Poker Club are the Club Management Tools that help you customize your player lobby, manage your membership, choose your admins, set up the season lengths and many more things. Each Poker Club gets a Club Leader Board where the top players from your tournaments are shown. View each members statistics in your club from within your customized lobby.

Once you start running your Poker Club you can easily schedule upcoming tournament dates and times as well as keeping open ring table games. After you have played tournaments you can get game results, knockouts and how many points each player has earned in your stats charts. To make your game feel more personal you can also have custom game tables with your clubs name of the poker felt.

Remember, a full range of games is available for club play including Texas Holdem, Omaha, Stud and mixed games like HORSE. And dont forget, you can invite any player who has an account at PokerStars, even some famous players like Daniel Negraneau, Greg Raymer and Viktor Isildur1 Blom.
