Poker.com Poker Review
Poker.com Poker Room Information
Promotions and BonusPoker.com LobbyPoker.com TablesOVERALL RATING -- 6.9 out of 10You can count on one thing for sure at Poker.com they have absolutely the best URL for any poker related website. I wouldnt recommend visiting poker.com through their URL, but rather visit through a link such as those on Drawdead.com. There are several pop-ups that which be very annoying. Poker.com is a good poker site if all you are interested in is playing Texas Holdem and Omaha because those are the two main games they have. Poker.com has just recently opened up its Blackjack tables. There is news that other poker games like 7 card stud are going to be added soon.SOFTWARE -- 8 out of 10Poker.com is one of the only sites that built their own software and network. The graphics clean and clear and the functionality is average. I do like the option that you can tag players as sharks or fish. Poker.com offers lobby music, instant hand histories, win statistics, and note taking support. The lobby, contains such relevant information and stats such as average pot, hands player per hour, and viewed flop percentage. There is no display in the lobby for the number of players online at any given time, and the software limits you to a single window, which allows you to tab through several tables. This invariably leads to confusion and hitting the wrong button on the wrong table I think they are still working out the kinks in the software but I do enjoy playing there and believe that this room will soon be one of the largest online.BONUSES -- 7 out of 10Poker.com offers a few bonuses including the 100% first deposit bonus and the refer-a-friend bonus which can earn you up to $50 per person.PROMOTIONS -- 9 out of 10Poker.com offers quite a few high value promotions. The most notable being a $20,000 weekly freerolls, a $500 daily initial depositors freeroll, $100 freerolls every 3 hrs, and two weekly $4,000 freerolls. Satellites for major live tournaments are continuously offered, including the WSOP Main Event and the WSOP Ladies game. They also award poker points that can be used to enter tournaments and soon can be used to purchase merchandise.PLAYERS -- 9 out of 10For the most part the players are SOFT, very soft. I don't know how long this situation will last, but at the time of this writing, I'm convinced that there's probably no better place to play than at Poker.com. The fact that the players are so soft makes this probably the best online poker room to be profitable for players.GAMES VARIETY -- 5 out of 10Poker.com at this writing only offers Texas Hold'em and Omaha High, and a beta version of Blackjack. The Omaha and Holdem games are available in limit, pot-limit, and no-limit. Table stakes vary from $0.01/$0.02 to $30/$60 in the fixed games, and $0.02/$0.04 up to $25/$50 in no-limit versions. There are no heads-up tables, just 6 and 10 handed tables.SITE TRAFFIC -- 6 out of 10With freerolls that are heavily promoted and offer generous cash prizes, you can guarantee to see more and more traffic coming to Poker.com. There are usually around 1000 players online at any given time.RING GAME AND TOURNAMENT TRAFFIC - 5 out of 10With the onset of satellite tournaments with WSOP prizes, the amount of ring game players has declined, in June there where only about 700 players at ring games on average. But the traffic at the tournaments has steadily increased as people are trying to win their seats to the WSOP.SUPPORT -- 4 out of 10Poker.com offers no live support, and no telephone support. Your only option right now is email support. They claim that they respond with in 30 minutes but I have yet to see that. I believe that once they offer in game or telephone support the issue of timely customer responses will be resolved.SITE SECURITY -- 7 out of 10No recorded problems as of this writing..BANKING -- 9 out of 10Poker.com offers my favorite type of payout. Instant Cashouts. I have used this in the past and must say that it IS instant! Most other sites have some type of processing time that must elapse before you can cash out, typically between 12 and 36 hours. Poker.com has no such restriction. You get your money when you want it! The current deposit options are Visa/Mastercard, Neteller, Citadel (Us and Canada), Click2play and InstaCash. Your cashout options are Neteller (instant payment), Click2Play and Citadel.
