PartyGaming closes to French

Without a warning to investors, PartyGaming, Plc., chose to close its Web site to French customers Friday. The news was broken today by the Guardian Unlimited today which said the online gambling company is refusing to comment on the change.

Dot.com logos to be allowed at 2007 WSOP

Harrah's Operating Company, Inc. has opened pre-registration and disclosed the new tournament rules for the 2007 World Series of Poker (WSOP). This year, tournament participants will be allowed to wear dot.com logos as long as the gaming site they're promoting does not conduct business with U.S. residents.
