Who made the money in the $2,500 NLH?
Event #13, the $2,500 No Limit Hold’em game drew almost 1,400 players, almost 400 more than the event had in last years WSOP. There were 1,390 players vying for their share of the $3.2million prize pool. Ultimately it was Canadian Duncan Bell who captured his first gold bracelet and the top prize of $666,777. The final hand of the tournament put Bell holding pocket rockets to 2nd place finisher, Steven Merrifield’s pocket tens. The aces held up and the rest is history for Bell.
