Who made the money in the $10,000 Seven-Card Stud World Championship?
The biggest winner in Event #14, the $10,000 Stud championship, was not a poker player. It was the Decision Education Foundation, to whom first place winner Eric Brooks announced would receive all of his winnings. The final hand of the game had Brooks on a drawing for a flush against Fu Wong’s set of fours on sixth street. The final two cards were dealt and Brooks made his flush, leaving Wong with a 2nd place finish and $259,910 in prize money.
