Who made the money in the $1,500 NLH?
Grant Hinkle comes out on top of a field of 3,929 players to win his first WSOP bracelet in Event #2, $1,500 NLHE. In what was the largest and the longest played preliminary event in WSOP history, Hinkle made his way through the field and earned $831,462. Day two of play was suspended after a grueling 16 hours and 18 players left. Day 3 of play saw the field narrow to a single table and so strange calls made, including Chris Ferguson going all in more than a dozen times. Play ended when Hinkle flopped a boat, and got quad 10s on the turn leaving James Akenhead drawing dead and finishing in 2nd place.The full cash list is as follows:
