Who made the money in the $5,000 PLO w/re-buys?
At a table where 28 other WSOP bracelets had already been won by the seated players, it was Phil Galfond that caught his first. In event #28, the $5,000 Pot Limit Omaha, Galfond who is also known as ‘OMGClayAiken’ won his first bracelet and $817,781. Only 152 players where originally seated for the event but the 483 rebuys and add-ons put the total prize pool over $3 million. Previous bracelet winners who made it to this final table were Johnny Chan, Phil Hellmuth, John Juanda, and Daniel Negreanu, but it was Adam Hourani that lasted the longest against Galfond. Hourani came out with 2nd place and $493,748.A full cash list is below:
