Who made the money in the $1,500 Seven Card Stud?
Congratulations to Mike Rocco, a well know stud player from Las Vegas, who outlasted 380 opponents to win his first WSOP bracelet and $135,753. Rocco was the chip leader going into the final table but once play got to heads up action, he was out chipped by 2nd place finisher Al Barbieri. As play continued, Rocco slowly chipped away at the bigger stack until the last hand where Barbieri was all in by 3rd street but unable to match Rocco’s pair of kings. Barbieri’s 2nd place finish earned him $83,210.A full cash list is below:
