Who made the money in the $2,000 NLH?
This years $2,000 No Limit Hold’em game drew about 60 more players than last years game, coming in at 1,592 total participants. Top prize of $550,601 and the gold bracelet went Matt Keikoan, who had five cashes at WSOP games but no other final table appearances. Day two of the event had Theo Tran in the lead with only 152 players remaining. Tran made the final table but went out in 4th place, just as he had in Event #2. Heads up play lasted 68 hands before Keikoan knocked out Shannor Shorr.
