This year we saw a new tournament debut at the WSOP. It was Event #8, the $10,000 Mixed Games, which included just about every poker game imaginable. Games varieties that were played included limit hold’em, pot limit Omaha, Razz. Stud, and Triple Draw 2-7. And even though the final table, from the starting field of 192 players, was half full of previous WSOP bracelet winners, it was a cash player who won. Anthony Rivera, 22, from Henderson, Nevada, scooped up the gold bracelet and the $483,688 top prize.
